Post an Ad

Payment Method

| Blog | May 25, 2010

I have noticed on my internet logs that many people go to the Add a Post page and after the first step.  Well I would too lol.  If I was posting a free ad and then it ask for a payment method I would be like what the heck.  Well we are working on getting a simple way to over come that but for now just click continue on either button (paypal or google check out).  If it’s a free ad it will take you to the next page and you can’t be charged if you don’t enter your paypal account.

Another thing to consider is that ALL ads that are free go through a process.  That process is we check to see if it’s some spam websites or something we deem not appropriate for our audience.

So get to posting those free ads and if you do run across an add that cost believe me it’s well worth it with the traffic we get.

Two For One!

If you own a business or have a service you want to get the word out on give me one minute.  DFW Ad Post is mostly a free classified ad site for the Dallas Fort Worth Area.  I you place an ad on here and then get a Facebook page for your business and hit our “Like” button you will be seen on two different platforms.  So it’s your choice.  You can sit around wishing you were getting calls or just post an ad here and then hit our like button to get your business noticed on facebook as well.

I Thought The Ads Were Free

| Blog | April 30, 2010

If you have tried to add a new ad and then it takes you to the payment screen don’t panic. There just happens to be three reasons why you might be seeing that. 1) you checked to have “featured ad” 2) you chose a section that requires payment 3) you did pick a free ad but the payment screen showed up. The answer is this. If one 1 or 2 has been done then you will have to pay up lol. If it’s a free ad I have it to review and will approve it if it meets ad post guidelines. So no worries. Keep posting and just exit out of the payment screen.

Possible Email Issue

| Blog | April 29, 2010

Today I received several email errors from the account.  I checked my email provider (one who I typically recommend lol) and it appears there is some type of upgrade.  If you have experienced problems logging in, registering or anything else that requires the use of your email address it may have been hindered by my systems email client being down.  Please try again and if you keep experiencing anything else just let us know.  Don’t forget to tell your friends about the website.  Thanks
